Wood Burning Explore the world of wood burning. Using a heated tool, burn designs onto a wooden surface to create unique patterns and images. Course Description: Students will learn essential techniques of wood burning, including the use of different wood burning tips. They will also learn how to transfer a design onto a board before burning, and will learn how to create shading and writing to produce their own unique design. No prior experience required. The class will be limited to 10 students. Instructor Scott Thompson Age restrictions: Adults and teenagers (13 - 18) permitted. Students, age 13 - 18 years old, must be accompanied by an adult. Tools and Materials: All tools and materials will be provided for the course. Cost (includes lunch): Non-members $45 ACWA members $35 Teens (13-18)* $10 * All students must be accompanied by an adult Cancellation Policy: Fees will be refunded on a case by case basis or if we can find someone to fill the spot.
