Service Description

Intro to Carving Course Description: Students will learn the basics of wood carving, including the specific skills and techniques needed to produce a finished carving. Students will also learn how to work with wood and wood grains, and how to sharpen their tools. No prior experience required. The class will be limited to 8 students. Age restrictions: Adults and teenagers (13 - 18) permitted. Students, age 13 - 18 years old, must be accompanied by an adult. Tools and Materials: All tools and materials will be provided for the course. Cost (includes lunch): Non-members $45 ACWA members $35 Teens (13-18)* $10 * All students must be accompanied by an adult Cancellation Policy: Fees will be refunded on a case by case basis or if we can find someone to fill the spot.
