Service Description
Class Description: 1. What you will make: You will construct a 12 inch tall by 10 inch wide mantel clock with drawer. 2. Tools you will use: Table saw, mitre saw, router, drill press, and CNC Router Engraving Machine 3. Knowledge and skills you will gain: 1. How to construct a 25 piece clock case. 2. How to safety mill small pieces. 3. How to use a router to cut 5 different profiles. 4. How to use a computer driven router engraving machine to make a clock face. 4. Brief woodworking related biography of the instructors: Sandy Mckinnis has been building things out of wood for over 40 years. She has taken many classes through the ACWA from both local and nationally recognized instructors. She particularly likes building furniture—couches, doors, bookcases, tables, etc. Tam Pikey has been taking classes through ACWC.
