Dates/Times: *Sun Feb 16 4pm-9pm Tue Feb 18 4pm-9pm Thu Feb 20 6pm-9pm Sat Feb 22 10am-4pm Sun Feb 23 10am-4pm Tue Feb 25 4pm-9pm * Attendance at the first class is mandatory. Thereafter, the shop will be available to work on the project at the student's schedule. Pizza will be provided at the first class at 6pm. Class Description: In this class, students will build a shaker-style nightstand. Because most students will want their nightstand to match their bed furniture, students are encouraged to customize the template. Tools: Students will use most of the basic power tools in the shop (jointer, planer, table saw, router table, drill press) and basic hand-held tools (trim router, drill, sanders). Instructor Bio: Marc Brown recently relocated from Silicon Valley to Anchorage to be close to his granddaughters. After a career in high tech, Marc began taking woodworking classes at the local adult schools, and has been teaching woodworking at the Palo Alto Adult School for the past 7 years. Prerequisites: This class is not for beginners. Students must have taken at least two previous ACWA classes. Cost: $40 shop fee. $40 instructor fee. Students will provide their own wood
