Class Description: 1. What you will make: You will make a standing moose lawn ornament. 2. Tools you will use: Jig saw, bandsaw, scroll saw 3. Knowledge and skills you will gain: How to transfer a pattern onto wood and cut out the design using the above tools. You will also learn how to glue up a project that has 10 pieces. 4. Brief woodworking related biography of the instructor: Sandy Mckinnis has been making things out of wood for over 50 years. She has taught several beginning woodworking classes through ACWA. Age: Adults; Young adults 16+ Number of Students: Class size is limited to 3 students Tools and Materials: All tools are provided. You do not need to bring any tools. Cost: $60 materials fee. $20 shop fee. Instructors fee: $20 Total cost: $100 Club Membership: You must be an ACWA member to attend this class.
