Class Description: 1. What you will make: You will construct a bench with one shelf and two drawers. 2. Tools you will use: Table saw, router, drill, mitre saw, Festool Domino Jointer. 3. Knowledge and skills you will gain: Basic frame and carcase construction including drawer construction, Mounting under-drawer drawer guides. 4. Brief woodworking related biography of the instructor: Bob Lackey is a professional woodworker who owns FishHook Woodworking. Alan Peck is a board member of ACWC and is being mentored by Bob Lackey. Age: Adults; Young adults 16+ Number of Students: Class size is limited to 5 students Tools and Materials: All tools are provided. You do not need to bring any tools. Cost: $ 200 materials fee; or you may supply your own wood. $20 shop fee. Instructors fee: $130. Total cost: $350.00 if ACWC supplies the wood or $150 if you supply the wood. Club Membership: You must be an ACWA member to attend this class. Cancellation Policy: Club membership is not refundable. Fees will be refunded on a case by case basis or if we can find someone to take the spot.
